Twixtor slow motion sequences synthetically generated by interpolation of existing images that requires a lot of computing power - because of acceleration by GPU is very convenient. The maximum acceleration requires a high end GPU such as the AMD FirePro W7000-9000, Radeon HD 7970, 7990, NVIDIA Quadro K5000, K6000, GeForce GTX 680, 690, 780 or titanium. It varies between 5-fold in After Effects and 3-fold in Adobe Premiere and Final Cut Pro - and of course also depends on the overall performance of the system.
