Hardly anyone had the 12K resolution wonder of Blackmagic in their hands yet, when the Australians already announce a new firmware with enhanced frame rates.
In 12K Cinemascope (2.4:1) the URSA Mini Pro 12K now achieves up to 75 fps, in 8K DCI 120 fps and in 4K Super 16 240 fps. In addition there is now also 8K/4K 2.4:1 with up to 160 fps, all available frame rates are listed in the following table:

The manual of the URSA Mini has been extended by the 12K version documents.blackmagicdesign.com/UserManuals/BlackmagicURSAMiniManual.pdf. In it Blackmagic also reaffirms the 13.9 f-stop dynamic of the 12K model (compared to 14.7 f-stops of the Ursa Mini Pro 4.6K/G2). For the time being, this remains an enormous announcement is measured by the sensor size.
Last but not least, the camera should now be able to record RAW still images, which also seems to be record-breaking. After all, there is no APS-C/S35 sensor with such a high resolution available from the renowned photo camera manufacturers. However, the housing is now also not exactly typical for a camera...
