We currently have the new Canon EOS R5 Mark II in the laboratory and practical test in the slashCam editorial office and this has also led us to look at the Canon EOS R5 C again. As we know, the EOS R5C has remained in the Canon portfolio even after the introduction of the R5 Mark II and quite rightly so - in our detailed practical test here it scored points with the best video handling in the DSLM segment, among other things. However, one of the drawbacks we mentioned was the rather short battery life. This is now changing with the new LP-E6P batteries produced for the Canon EOS R5 Mark II, which also seem to fit into the Canon EOS R5C. Several sources report 40-50% more battery life when using the new LP-E6P battery. For example, recording time at 4K 24p is said to increase from 60 minutes to 90 minutes. This represents a considerable leap for the Canon EOS R5C and is probably due to the higher maximum discharge current of now 6 amps. So if you were planning to replace your old LP-E6 batteries anyway and need longer runtimes with internal batteries, the new Canon LP-E6P batteries may be just the right option for you. more infos at bei store.canon.de deutsche Version dieser Seite: Bis zu 50% mehr Akkulaufzeit mit der Canon EOS R5 C |
