Blackmagic has again made a lot of new updates available for download tonight. The new firmware 3.5 for the Video Assist recorders this time also takes into account the older 3G models without HDR suffix. They now get LCD screen calibration as well as screen pinch zoom with up to 8x magnification. ![]()
DaVinci Resolve also makes a version leap to 17.3.2. Among the new features Blackmagic mentions support for the Blackmagic RAW SDK 2.2. In addition, there are primarily bug fixes. In detail these are: - Fixing instability issues when using the Color Warper. - Fixed incorrect HDR highlights when using DaVinci Wide Gamut. - Fixed a naming issue for captured clips in the Fairlight timeline. - Fixed incorrect reloading of cached audio effects on linked tracks. - Fixed missing EQ and other automation issues in Fairlight. - Fixed incorrect display of Fairlight Spaceview with certain AMD drivers. - Fixed a possible freeze after using Fusion tracker modifiers. - Fixed a problem with Fusion planar transformation on small images. - Fixed an issue with uploading renders on Apple Silicon systems. - Fixed an issue with the classic stabilizer on Apple Silicon systems. - Fixed a problem with LUT generation on Apple Silicon systems. - Fixed an issue where images were displayed in the wrong order when decoding certain XAVC clips. - Fixed a problem with importing corrupted CLF LUTs. - General performance and stability improvements.
