At CES 2022, Razer unveiled an update to its Blade 14, 15, and 17 notebooks, bringing new components like the latest NVIDIA GeForce RTX 30 GPUs, better displays, faster memory, the just-unveiled ;)
The new features.The different Razer Blade models get some innovations that affect all models such as. a 1080p webcam and an improved keyboard, as well as improvements that only affect individual models. For example, the large Razer Blade 17 gets a battery with an increased capacity of 82 watt hours, which is a significant increase over the previous model, whose battery only had 70.5 watt hours. In addition, the case now features additional vents and a redesigned internal fan cooling system that should help keep the new powerful Intel CPU and NVIDIA GPU running at high performance for a long time. The 15- and 17-inch models are now equipped with the new Intel Alder Lake processors with power-saving cores, and the refresh rate of their 4K displays has been increased to 144 Hz now. Razer Blade 14The smallest model, the Razer Blade 14 has not been equipped with a new Intel CPU, however, its current AMD Ryzen 6000-series processor (also just unveiled at CES 2022), more specifically the Ryzen 9 6900HX along with DDR5 memory makes it faster than the previous version. It can be configured with a mobile GeForce RTX 3060 GPU (with 6 GB VRAM), 3070 Ti (8 GB VRAM) or 3080 Ti (16 GB VRAM). Other features include 16 GB of soldered DDR5-4800 RAM, a 1 TB NVMe SSD, and either a FullHD resolution display (as well as 144 Hz refresh rate and 100% sRGB color space coverage) or QHD resolution (165 Hz refresh rate and 100% DCI-P3 color space) - both supported variable frame rate display via FreeSync. The price of the Razer Blade 14 starts at 2,2000 Euros. ;) Razer Blade 15Razer has also upgraded each of the RTX 3070 and RTX 3080 mobile GPUs on the Razer Blade 15 to the faster Ti versions that have just been released. Instead of the 15.6" UltraHD OLED panel with 60 Hz, however, there is now an UltraHD IPS panel with 144 hertz to choose from alongside the QHD version with 240 Hz and the FHD version with 360 Hz. You can choose between the new  Alder-Lake processors Core i7-12800H (6 performance and 8 energy-saving cores, up to 4.8 GHz turbo clock) and a Core i9-12900HK (6P and 8E cores, up to 5.0 GHz) as CPU. The other Asus equipment includes 16/32 GB RAM as well as 1 TB NVMe SSD - the price starts at around 2,800 Euros for the weakest model. Razer Blade 17The Razer 17 has now also been upgraded to the latest Intel Alder Lake CPUs as well as the Ti versions of the RTX 3070 and 3080.
