Since 2 years Vimeo offers content providers the interesting chance to start their own streaming portal with Vimeo&s OTT (formerly VHX) and earn money with it - either through voluntary donations, subscriptions or through a pay-per-view model.
Now Vimeo extends this service by offering the possibility to share videos with your own app. These can be provided with their own interface and thus look completely individual and not according to Vimeo. With Vimeo&s OTT service you can easily start your own streaming portal e.g. to a niche topic including the corresponding app (for iOS, Android, fireTV, XBOX or Tizen) and don&t have to worry about the technical aspect - be it streaming, app programming or the payment interface.
