Cosina has now officially presented its first lens for the Canon RF mount. The Voigtländer Nokton RF 50mm f/1 was already shown at the CP+ photo fair in spring and is now scheduled to be launched in October. Although it is a manual fixed focal length, it is - like the corresponding Voigtländer 50mm F1.0 Nokton aspherical Z-mount (50mm F1.0 lens for the Nikon Z-mount) - equipped with electronic contacts and thus enables communication between camera and lens. In combination with a Canon EOS R system camera, Exif information, built-in image stabilization (3-axis) and three types of focus support (magnification, peaking and focus guiding) are supported.
