The new models SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable SSD, SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD, WD_Black P50 Game Drive SSD and WD My Passport SSD offer users more storage as well as faster speeds.

The new SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable NVMe SSD 4TB has read and write speeds of up to 2000 MB/s. Its curved aluminum enclosure acts as a heat sink to enable higher sustained speeds in a portable form factor. The My Passport SSD 4TB features a shock and vibration resistant metal design which lets it survive drops from a height of up to 1.98m. The NVMe SSD achieves read speeds of up to 1050MB/s and write speeds of up to 1000MB/s. It is expected to go on sale in the first quarter of 2021 at a price of 818 euros in gray, blue, red, gold and silver.
The fast SanDisk Extreme Pro Portable 4TB and WD_Black P50 Game Drive SSD 4TB models feature a USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 (USB-C) interface with a maximum transfer speed of 20Gb/s (2,500 MB/s), while the other two models also have a USB 3.2 Gen2 interface (USB-C), but only with a maximum transfer speed of 10Gb/s (1,250 MB/s), which is sufficient for their low speed of 1,050 MB/s.
