Why color management? Netflix gives the answer

Netflix has released a new video on the benefits of color management for film productions as part of its KnowHow series on YouTube, which is aimed at those looking to produce for Netflix as well as being educational for filmmakers in general.

In the roughly 7 minute clip, color management is defined and explained clearly and simply why it is so important to the production process (not just at Netflix, but anywhere collaborative footage is used). Demonstrated nicely in the video are the differences between a workflow without color management and one with color management, and how ACES (the Academy Color Encoding System) helps standardize color management.
