Now the first smartphone with three-digit photo resolution is official -- the Xiaomi Mi Note 10 has the
Samsung Isocell Bright HMX Sensor announced in autumn and offers a maximum resolution of 108MP with its main camera. More attractive -- and less memory intensive -- are photos if four pixels are combined to a "superpixel". Then, according to the manufacturer, the camera reaches a sensor size of 1.6µm and a correspondingly higher luminous efficacy. The sensor size is 1/1.33".
But while the sensor should theoretically support a 6K recording, the Mi Note 10 "only" offers 4K video (30fps) -- soberly enough for a smartphone. In a lower resolution slow motion with up to 960fps can be recorded, also macro settings. Because the "Penta camera" has beside the main camera also 2 tele modules, an ultra wide angle module as well as a macro camera:
The image stabilization should be optical. The processor on board is not the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G, but there is 6GB RAM, 128GB memory, a 6.47 inch OLED display and a battery with a decent 5260mAh capacity. The Xiaomi Mi Note 10 should cost from 549 Euro.
