The latest drone from Chinese manufacturer Yuneec is the Mantis Q, a foldable drone that is easy to transport and operate. It has significantly more capabilities than the Yuneec Breeze and is in direct competition with the foldable 4K drones
DJI Mavic Air and
Parrot Anafi.
Technologically, the Mantis Q is quite advanced: it can be controlled by voice commands (such as "Take a photo" or "Record a video"), can follow objects in flight by means of visual tracking, and can also navigate indoors and avoid obstacles by means of IPS and ultrasonic sensors. Alternatively, the Mantis Q can also be controlled by gestures - so a photo can be taken by hand by waving.

Yuneec Mantis Q
The Yuneec Mantis Q is also quite powerful in terms of flight duration and speed: it can stay in the air for up to 33 minutes and reaches a top speed of 72 km/h. However, there is no mechanical image stabilization by integrated gimbal, the images are only electronically stabilized (when shooting at 1080p). However, the 1/3.06" camera can be tilted upwards by 20° and downwards by 90 degrees.
Photos are taken at 4,800 × 2,700 (16:9) or 4,160 × 3,120 (4:3) pixels resolution, video in UltraHD resolution (3,840 x 2,160) with a maximum of 30 frames per second. The Mantis Q comes with a controller with a range of 800 meters - the smartphone is used as an intelligent screen for the live images - the app is based on the popular open source project PX4.
