Zoom has released PodTrak Podcast Studio P8, a comprehensive solution for podcasters that provides functionality for recording, editing and mixing. The P8 has a color touch screen that allows for both operation and editing of audio tracks (such as internal trimming, cutting or threading). ![]() Zoom PodTrak Podcast Studio P8
The audio input is provided by its 6 microphone inputs with XLR connectors and optional phantom power, including newly developed microphone preamplifiers that provide up to 70dB amplification. Each channel has an individual volume control, mute buttons and "ON AIR" indicator. As an alternative to input via microphone, participants can also be connected via a connected smartphone or a computer connected via USB and also recorded on separate tracks. An integrated mix-minus function is available for these tracks, which automatically suppresses feedback. The audio input can be fine-tuned by compressor, limiter and de-esser. For larger live conversations on location, 6 headphone outputs with individual volume controls are available. ![]() Zoom PodTrak Podcast Studio P8 Setupr Smartphones can be connected wirelessly via a TRRS cable or an (optional) BTA-2 Bluetooth adapter. Via 9 colored illuminated sound pads jingles, sound effects or music can be played, which can also be recorded on 2 of the 13 available tracks on SD card. The P8 is also a USB audio interface with 13 inputs and 2 outputs, so that users can alternatively record or stream podcasts directly with a PC, Mac and iPad. In addition, simultaneous recording to an internal SD, SDHC or SDXC card (with up to 512 GB capacity) and via USB) on a computer is possible. The power comes from the mains adapter - but with the help of four AA batteries, mobile operation is also possible for up to two hours. The Zoom PodTrak Podcast Studio P8 is available immediately at a price of around 580 euros. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: Zoom PodTrak Podcast Studio P8: Professionelles Podcasten mit bis zu 7 Teilnehmern |
