Zoom has introduced the new H2essential Multi-Mic – a handy audio recorder with 3 built-in microphones and the ability to record distortion-free 32-bit float audio at up to 96 kHz in nine different modes, including Mono, Stereo 90 degrees, Stereo 120 degrees, or 360-degree Surround – for applications like music, interviews, podcasts, conferences, or even ambient streaming. Zoom H2essential Its 1.3" color display shows recording information such as the waveforms of all tracks and the duration, as well as menus and settings, which can be controlled using various buttons. When recording in MS-raw format, the stereo width can be adjusted during post-production. The H2essential features a 3.5mm stereo input for connecting line-in sources or lavalier microphones, an integrated mixer, a headphone output, and a built-in speaker. Recordings can be stored on Micro SDHC/SDXH memory cards up to 1TB in size.
