In a technical note dated 25 October Apple mentioned that now iMovie necessarily presupposes a OpenCL-capable graphics card in the new version. Otherwise, the entry-level editing program to no longer be installed. The list mentioned in principle MacBook Pros, iMacs and Mac Pros until 2007/2008, however, are allowed to the MacBook Pro models with GeForce 8600M GT continues to play. Even the 24-inch iMac with the NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GS and Mac Pros with NVIDIA GeForce 8800 GT or NVIDIA Quadro FX 5600 remain until further compatible. Remarkably, we find this especially because OpenCL is now more associated with AMD / ATI and Nvidia is still trying to push their own CUDA. And of course even that well at medium-term entry-editing programs the GPU to accelerate urgently ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: iMovie 2013 setzt zwingend OpenCL voraus |
