iOS video editing app LumaFusion 2.2 with Final Cut Pro X XML export of projects

LumaFusion is one of the most popular apps for semi-professional video editing under iOS. The new features of version 2.2 include FCP-XML export, Add/Edit Sources/Destinations, new tutorial videos and new story block collections.
-The new FCP-XML Export option allows users to export LumaFusion projects and edit them on their desktop computer with Final Cut Pro X. The project data can be saved together with the media in a Zip file. There are still some restrictions, but these will be reduced over time. The FXP-XML export is not freely available, but must be activated by in-app purchase.
-Per "Add/Edit Sources and Destinations", the sources for imports and the destinations for exports (for each export type also others) can now be organized more easily.
-With the help of new video tutorials the start and work in LumaFusion should be easier. The tutorials are linked at the appropriate places in the reference.
-New "Storyblock Collections" facilitate the search for suitable content - some of them are free, others require a paid in-app subscription. "the Storyblock Collections" are a media library with royalty-free videos, animated backgrounds, loops, Soundfx and additional music options. The subscription costs 9.99 Euro per month or 69.99 Euro per year.
-SanDisk's new iXpand Drive Go
Improvements include support for the Google Drive, enhanced keyboard shortcuts and other user interface changes. In addition, the stability, performance and usability of LumaFusion has been improved.
LumaFusion 2
LumaFusion provides 6 video/audio tracks for video, audio, photos, titles or graphics and 6 additional audio tracks on a magnetic timeline for editing videos recorded with the iPhone/iPad. There are also color correction, transition effects, video effects such as chroma key, picture-in-picture, slow/fast motion video, live audio mixer, project manager, media library for importing clips from various sources, titler and export to various formats.
After LumaFusion 2018 had cost around 20 Euro, the price has been raised to 33 Euro - but last year there were more or less long discount campaigns where the app was available for 15-23 Euro. So if you want to save some money, you can wait and see and hope that such a campaign will start again soon.
