mHello DV: Free MotionVFX effects pack for DaVinci Resolve

The effect plug-in specialist MotionVFX is actually known for its VFX for Apple&s Final Cut Pro - now, for the first time, it also offers some for Blackmagic&s grading, editing, compositing and audio mastering program DaVinci Resolve 17. The start is made - quasi as a promo action - a special free VFX package called "mHello DV".

It includes several effects such as Magnifying Glass, Film Transitions, Retro Frame, a Glass effect, as well as presets for intros, titles and backgrounds - a total of 6 titles, 3 effects as well as 1 transition. Requirements for the 3.6 MB mHello DV effect pack from MotionVFX are DaVinci Resolve 17.2.2 (macOS or Windows) and a computer with at least 16 GB RAM and a graphics card with at least 2 GB VRAM.

In the future, MotionVFX plans to port many of its existing

tools and plugins to DaVinci Resolve, thus fortunately expanding the still rather sparse plugin offering for Resolve.
