AMD has announced two more workstation graphics cards in the AMD Radeon PRO W7000 series.The AMD Radeon PRO W7600 and AMD Radeon PRO W7500 are being promoted by AMD for typical mainstream workloads in professional media and entertainment industries, and are said to stand out primarily due to a "pleasantly budget-friendly" price.
;) The new workstation graphics cards from AMD - Radeon PRO W7600 and W7500 The Radeon Pro W7500 and W7600 only require a single slot and are based on AMD&s RDNA 3 technology with a Navi 33 GPU core, which is also installed in the cheaper Radeon (without Pro) gaming models. Both have 8 GB of GDDR6 memory, which is "only" connected via a 128 bit bus. The W7600 comes with 32 hardware units and a higher clock rate to about 20 FP32 TFLOPS, while the W7500, trimmed to 28 units, can only achieve about 12 TFLOPS. In return, the small version with 70W can also be installed without an additional power supply. Currently, the AMD Radiance Display Engine with DisplayPort 2.1 is a unique selling point compared to Nvidia, because it offers, among other things, up to 8K/12-bit HDR color support and also allows various multi-monitor configuration options. Of course, this raises the question of what advantages you have as a video editor compared to an identical RDNA3 gaming graphics card that costs less than half in  full configuration. An answer here usually steers towards the certified drivers. However, the current database from AMD is mainly filled with CAD and 3D applications, but there is no trace of typical applications for video editors. No Adobe Video Apps (only Lightroom) and also no Resolve, no Fusion or similar. In short, for most slashCAM users, there should be no driver difference beyond 3D apps.
