Three years ago Freefly created with the MOVI M10 single-handedly gimbal - a new class of electronic 3-axis image stabilization systems as more manageable alternative or complement to the hitherto usual Steadycam. Now Freefly wants the new MOVI Pro, which replaces the old M10 and M15 gimbal, again set a new standard for image stabilization - but more through consistent improvements in place a new concept. PIC 1: MOVI Pro in the ring The most striking feature of the new MOVI Pro: instead of the mostly usual handlebar MOVI ring is used as a holder for the actual gimbal - but alternatively, the classic handle are used. A big change concerns the power supply - two intelligent special hot-swappable batteries 25.2Vshall ensure that the gimbal including accessories can be used continuously without a break for a battery change. The electricity supplied by them is to power the camera or as a mobile monitor also at other ports to (D-Tap port (12-15V Adjustable, 6A Max Current), Spine D-Tap (12V, 2A) Tilt D-Tap (12V, 2A) and Tilt USB (5V, 1A) and saves additional batteries in addition, all cables now run internally in Gestaenge and thus wettergeschuetzt the batteries themselves are equipped own simple charge gauge -.. but the gimbal also has its own built-in display, indicating among other things the battery level in addition to other status information, but can also be used for setting parameters.
