smallHD has just introduced two new series of large, extremely bright, mobile field monitors at IBC 2019. The Vision series is designed for mobile HDR grading and has a larger color space, the Cine series is designed for outdoor shooting and has a high brightness of 1,000 and 2,500 nits, respectively, to deliver still recognizable images even in sunlight. Many features are common to both series, such as the four 12G-SDI inputs and a suite of tools for precise control of exposure for working with HDR.
The Vision 4K HDR monitors in sizes 13, 17 and 24" have over 2,000 different brightness zones (Local Dimming Array) and can display real HDR with a contrast of 1,000,000:1 - they also cover 113% of the professional DCI-P3 color space. In contrast to the new Cine monitors, there is still no information about the brightness of the Vision models.

The Cine 4K monitors (also available in sizes 13, 17 and 24") are characterized by their very high brightness and have either 1,000 or 2,5000 nits displays. The professional DCI-P3 color space is 113% covered. The other features will be very similar to those of the Cine 7 Fieldmonitor.
Further information is not yet known - but the monitors will not be released until the first quarter of 2020.
