Vivo has now presented the new flagship model of the X series for the German market. The vivo X80 Pro smartphone features a camera system that was jointly developed by Vivo and ZEISS and consists of four modules. The f/1.57 50-MP ultra-sensing camera with GNV sensor (Samsung ISOCELL) and optical image stabilization (OIS) acts as the main camera and is supported by an f/2.2 48-MP wide-angle camera, an f/1.85 12-MP gimbal portrait camera and an f/3.4 8-MP periscope camera. ![]() vivo X80 Pro
While there was also a moveable main camera with "gimbal stabilization" in previous Vivo X models, the portrait module is now also stabilized accordingly here. The main camera features a glass lens that is supposed to minimize image errors like flare, ghosting, chromatic aberrations and distortions. Besides the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC, the X80 Pro is equipped with the latest version of the vivo image processing chip, the vivo V1+. It features an integrated AI system for visual optimizations and improvements in speed as well as energy efficiency. With the help of the "ZEISS Cinematic Video Bokeh function", one is supposed to be able to give one&s video recordings a cinematic -- albeit artificially generated -- look. This is obviously intended to imitate the oval blur areas that occur during anamorphic filming. ![]() vivo X80 Pro The Vivo X80 Pro also features AI video enhancement, which is supposed to enable the device to automatically detect the right mode for the lighting conditions, allowing users to choose between video HDR and night mode depending on the scenario. In addition, Vivo says the V1+ chip improves the X80 Pro&s visual experience for displays and games, especially in terms of motion sharpness, brightness, color and resolution. Camera Panning is the name of another new feature that is supposed to reduce motion blur, e.g. caused by shaky hands (in photos), via "portrait motion tracking technology". In addition, a night sports mode is supposed to enable sharper pictures in motion thanks to motion detection. ![]() vivo X80 Pro The X80 Pro is equipped with a 7.78" AMOLED 3,200 x 1,440 (WQHD+) display with up to 120Hz refresh rate, LPDDR5 RAM with up to 6400Mbps transfer speed, as well as improved UFS 3.1 and dual speakers. Its 4,700mAh battery supports 80W FlashCharge and 50W wireless FlashCharge and is fully charged in just 36 minutes. A special feature is the fingerprint scanner, which works via ultrasound and can verify a finger&s profile quickly and reliably according to initial tests. The 219-gram vivo X80 Pro will be available in Germany from July 2022 at a price of 1,299 Euros. ![]() deutsche Version dieser Seite: vivo X80 Pro Smartphone: 4fach ZEISS Kamerasystem mit Gimbal-Porträt- und Periskopkameras |
