Infoseite // Leaps in time when recording to SDHC memory cards

Frage von Bijan:

Hi!
I'm with a colleague along with several cameras, the railing of a tram included a heavy. The recordings were made with several Pansonics HDC SD 707 in the AVCHD format, each on a 32 GB SDHC memory card. The entire procedure lasted approximately 1.5 hours in real time. The idea was to cut the movie with Adobe Premiere CS 4 per Multicamfunktion.
Now, I have noted with great dismay that the clips are completely dismembered. It would be best, of course, if everyone would clip full length (ie 1.5 hours, so that the synchronization of work would be easier). Because I knew though, that UNFORTUNATELY! to 4 GB and over again automatically starts a new clip, I had already set out that all 34 minutes (probably about 4 GB), a new clip starts, which then would have to be angehfetet s.den previous clip.
Now I've noticed with horror that the clips are completely dismembered. One clip lasts five minutes, the other 4 minutes and to the astonishment of all with a black screen. I also have user id is missing a lot of scary images that, for a total of maybe 50 minutes, every camera images.

How can it be that one clip ends with a black picture?

Why break a clip off after 5 minutes?

Where is the mistake? The memory cards have all been formatted in the camera.

I thank you very much for your answers!

Could it be that you have the automatic shutdown of the camera activated, which switches at each lowering of the Camera (Lens toward the floor) the Camera? The described behavior is not normal. If it occurs in several identical cameras, one can probably rule out a technical fault almost. Possibly. ye synonymous inappropriate SD cards used.

Hello Frank!
Thank you for your answer! So the memory should not be. They are of San Disc 32 GB with 30 Mbit / sec and were synonymous not really cheap.
Two cameras were staked out and use two cameras as a long shot to Statiov. So nothing had lowered to the ground.
However, I would not rule out operator error. No idea ...

This is very mysterious. Sometimes you press the Start button-quite unconsciously-stop, although you would like to actually go through. I am already used to go with concert recordings Sun But this you would have noticed so sure, so it can probably not be the answer to the problem.
Were there other acts? Intense heat, vibration or similar?
Possibly. Panasonic has these types of series one Macke. On that other users have had similar experiences. With my 300 I have not yet experienced such a behavior. And, to correct long exposures so I am not yet come synonymous.

1 1 / 2 std is synonymous but no long-term record, right? ;)

Hm, was perhaps expressed something wrong. Correct would be: I have never made recordings that are longer than one hour continuous run there. I had my Panasonic HDC SD 300 not with in concert recordings, which would obtain in terms ähliche like the thread starter. My shots are so far gone through only a few minutes. I am trying to see how my camera min continuous recordings of more than 15. behaves. Today, however, not more. I'm pretty sure if User related issues with the SD would have had 300 as the TS with the 707, that would be already become known. The 707 is still relatively new. It is not certain excluded that some early series Macke.

Bijan @: you could still make a synonymous specification of the memory-class? (Ie, class 2 or 4 or ...?)
and if we're at it: the used data rate?

other possible confounding factors then:
automatic shutdown enabled?
super-activated entry level panasonic-aid? (To warn of all .. synonymous front of the red button)
and - often forgotten: activated remote control?

Last but not least: if you still have the camcorders - you can just sometimes take the tv for 1 hour? because tests are necessary

sorry that I have info for those wondering - but hopefully we can find out quickly and limit what it was.
