But you can use the compl. AVCHD footage into the timeline of Load Studio and transcode it into the cut-friendly 35Mbps with MPEG2 and then load this file into a new project. Now you can run over it, the scene detection and edited beautifully.
A loss of quality you'll hardly notice when this workflow.

No, yet I am still using no AVCHD, but DV AVI and MPEG2, relat there are the rendering times when Canopus program. short. I was only surprised that when Pinnacle took so long, and my question was in the direction as if you can set something to it quicker.

1.) No, the times are definitely not mormal.
My old AMD Athlon 64 3700 + @ 2,2 Ghz (; single core) managed DV to MPG2 with complex transitions and even filters in almost exactly half real time.
Since it with you again but twice as long to run, it would mean roughly that you about an AMD Athlon XP 2000 + or a comparable Intel did.
Then your calculator would be really old ;-)
2.) of Dia, you can enable background rendering, and like this:
Menu -> Setup -> Video tab - and audio settings - Hook and share activate "background rendering.

Hello, Pinnacle now has 11 (for testing, Pinnacle 12 was me) constantly before the test, but this brought my calculator to crash. Since I initially did not even movies in AVCHD, Pinnacle reaches 11, that is synonymous stable. Must get used to but still different layout compared s.das Canopus, but this will do.

gruss makiHD No, the 12er version crashes after 15 to 20 minutes rendering. Have they re-installed by. The version 11 is currently running stable, synonymous crashes after 45 min did not render.
Except that it can (version 12 synonymous AVCHD; be able to do), there is no important difference in version 11, right?

Pinnacle is not the most stable software.
Thou canst take out the background rendering in the extras in Project Preferences.
Check the configuration on your PC time with the requirements of Pinnacle: Pinnacle announces principle, only the minimal requirements under which the software is sometimes behaves like an old Saugdiesel.
I am currently using the third version of Pinnacle (, 10.6), which works just fine.
