| Rode NTG2 on Canon XH A1 - of the diameter does not fit into the bracket?
Question by yellowcam: März 2009
Hello,
I have a Canon XH A1 and the NTG2 Rode Microphone and more of a mechanical problem:)
Have noticed that the holder of Canon is too big or the Microphone in diameter too small (can not attach or pinching).
Someone knows if there is a workaround? A cup or so? Tape or something because I would like to make but not drum:)
I'm grateful for every tip!
Answer by Frank B.:
I know now not by how many millimeters, the radius of the microphone of the holder of the micro-difference. But I can tell you that because with a little ingenuity can do something. Starting a piece of garden hose to a ring of solid material from a foam mattress. If you times with open eyes through the workshop, or go DIY, you'll determine what the appropriate place;)

Hi Frank!
I actually wanted nothing "hinpfuschen" ... .. just thought it because of something or RODE CANON would be reflected?
You have a good time!
Answer by TheDrummer:
Not enough for a (still folded) paper handkerchief with which you NTG umwickelst. However, I am disappointed of the bracket as zoom and drive noise is still heard: / If you find a solution that eliminates this noise, please tell us about it;)
