Have already used the search function, but not the appropriate place.
Still have lots of video-8-and the tapes will be via firewire to the PC.
There seems to digital video camcorder, with whom such a thing is feasible.
Have before me such a device (used of course) zuzulegen.
Has anyone experience what model definitely do so.

Basically all SonyDigital8 - camcorder.
Wies look at other brands, i know net ...

Important seems to be synonymous, the difference between Hi8 and Video8.

According to my Internet searches, the statement is not true. Because you're right: There are a whole series D8 camcorder that does not Video8 and Hi8 are compatible. What it is, you have certainly already in the discussion linked above to read. You can also synonymous to the Sony website a number of models so quickly compare.
Important seems to be synonymous, the difference between Hi8 and Video8. The should play no role. If a D8 camcorder analog tapes with such clear, then it's no preference whether they are Video8 or Hi8.

that is synonymous me new that not all of the sony d8 can ... well, until a few years but was still so, I must apologize, I was not up-to-date ;)...

The should play no role. That's right. The next in the above linked post above D8 camcorder, I still have to perform any and 8mm video formats, even the LP-recorded.
