AC3 5.1 in Vegas mix true Per 10

Hi,

I have a few questions about the 5.1 mix.

For LPCM 5.1, I have no problems because there is all so as you have mixed it. Only for people who do not have HDMI AV Receiver, I have to create an AC3 soundtrack, but when I do something hard.

It starts for example. with the fact that when I'm in the encoder setting Dialnorm leave it with-27dB and the compression on "Film: Default. I always have an ugly sound in the pumps. When I use the compression completely shuts down the sound pumped at high peaks still Dynamics.
I have not synonymous but the possibility to measure the value for the dialog normalization, since I have no Dolby Media Meter.

How the pros mix the whole thing off, it does not result in such a pump?

Peaks I leave with my projects, just go to 0db, the dialogue reaches its peak at about-9dB.

I would be very grateful for the tips I make the mix :-)

In a stereo mix (the only one with which I'm familiar) would be 9 dB for dialogue too quiet, too quiet, especially when added relative to the rest of the mixture to 0dB. I limit at-3dB.

Pumps are known, I would say, of an automatic level. If we find the audio before so for example a compressor, the attack and release times are unfavorable. If there is something in the way that you could disable it for testing purposes.

As the dialogue normalization works, unfortunately I do not synonymous. Since the function of it synonymous must be something like an automatic increase, with fair dialogues might be synonymous won what. Or do you make films like Robert Altman, find each other by always talking all?

Well, I like the dialogue at-9dB, because I still need some space to scare people. (It is mainly horror films).

And the pump is definitely not one of the compressors which are on the channels, otherwise it would be synonymous with PCM 5.1.

At the beginning of the movie I have music on the left and right channel, while still a storm tinkers on all 5 channels in the background, while a thunderstorm is accurate to 0db (including Music).

When I run the whole thing in PCM 5.1 out render everything as I mixed it. If I did but now render out in AC-3 5.1, s.der point is where does the thunder, the music a lot quieter. And the synonymous if the dynamic compression is turned off s.Encoder.
