Infoseite // AVCHD DVD or MPEG2HD-DVD for Blu-ray player

Frage von jazzy_d:

I'm as wild s.ausprobieren what data rates of the BDP-S350 s.einer FullHD DVD into h.264 or mpeg2 play.

I'm already so far that with Corel MovieFactory 6 plus inc HD PowerPack DVDs created with 1920x1080 in h.264 with VBR 1440x1080 with 15 and also in mpeg2 with VBR 15 s.Player without Ruckler run. Presumably, the player can not mpeg2 at higher, probably because the drive no faster than 1x turns (you hear nothing in any case the turn would). I will certainly more sound out exactly what the player can. Sony support told me that the player can not play such discs .... ha ha ha

If someone is synonymous with experience and knowledge of the topic, that would be very interesting. So only her damit.

I burn the AVCHD disc with PD7 VBR approx.15 specified in AVCHD and play it with the S300-SonyBDP without problems.

NO

Antwort von WoWu:

That works with any tool that AVCREC certified.

Antwort von jazzy_d:

The other issue (besides the tools), what data rates the Blu-ray player can read s.DVD. Sonyist now so far that the plant demand. But the S350 synonymous FullHD (or "HDV resolution or 720) in mpeg2 DVD s.einer can play, is not in the manual nor in the technical details and the staff at the Sony customer service synonymous know nothing about it.

Basically h.264 is obviously better, but it is already synonymous especially for HDV filmmakers interested in mpeg2 to be able to stay.

@ B. DeKid:
What do you have to experience in the subject?

In contrast to SonyBDP-S300, the S350 no data base available on DVD as a single file. The shop tested. In the Manual and in the technical data is not there. The S300 can (MPEG2) also synonymous nor Mp3 play the S350 does not anymore. Good of the S300 takes about 40 seconds until he is ready to start, but he plays then stop everything.

@ Reechaad

I do not believe that something is in the manual (AVCHD DVD) with a firmware again.

How to create these DVDs to burn and I are clear. It's about the data rates of the video to the player or BD player generally s.DVD still can read without bucking.

Antwort von Modellbahner:

AVCHD DVD played it from next. If so synonymous in the manual. Only MPEG2, mp3 as a data file, obtained from a menu (al. Playstation 3) select, it can no longer work. Look into the manual of the S-300 s.Page 32nd
Manual give it Sonyzum ruterladen. That was synonymous to me the reason the S-300 to buy and not the S-350. The data interrsiert not me personally, I'm not a tuner and what I am on my Full-HD screen look is pure cream. Of course, you can try everything possible, but why I would like to see movies and watch the best in quality and not last forever s.irgendwelchen settings rumschrauben something to achieve what I do not see.

"and the best quality"

That is so synonymous to me :-).

But you have to know the maximum data rate (quality) the player can play the stuff.

Well, I can see, I probably still need a few DVD's sizzle to himself that way.

If someone still has relevant experience, is of course very interesting.

The S350 I favor in an action for CHF 199 - 469th place - get. Manufacturer Wesshalb the really good and such interesting possibilities (Video File s.Daten DVD) wegmachen eludes my imagination.

Antwort von RickyMartini:

Can the S-300 ie MPEG2 files in 1920 and high data rate (eg 35/50MBit/s) of a data DVD play smoothly?

Currently I test with "Vegas Movie Studio 9" Blu-Ray as an image creation to ever be seen whether the quality was good.
Direct playback of a MPEG-2 HD / HDV / AVCHD DVD File of course, would be optimal.

Antwort von jazzy_d:

Hardly with such data rates. I am now at 15-17Mbit / s VBR (for the 350er) with h.264 at such data rates much better than mpeg2. Moreover, 40Mbit / s maximum for the (only) video on Blu-ray (more 13.95Mbit / s can then be used for audio).

Antwort von RickyMartini:

Can we therefore H.264 HD M2TS files play?
With an AVCHD disc are 16MBit / s the maximum, with virtually no picture from the raw materials of my HF100 to differentiate.

The data structure with the "Vegas Movie Studio 9" created Blu-Ray (as image) is strangely not of "Power DVD 8 Ultra recognized.
I have to play the M2TS file on the player window.
I have no other option BD files to test.

Antwort von jazzy_d:

Whether the 300 s.einer data disc can play I do not know, I have the 350er (can not). Apparently can / could of the 300 (next up is here). Experiment is called for.

Can you from Vegas synonymous Image Folder instead of creating? Ev. PowerDVD so it can handle.

Antwort von RickyMartini:

How have you with MF6 + HD Pack AVCHD - and MPEG-2 HD discs created?

So far I've only done put an HD-DVD that is unfortunately not of PDVD 8 can be played, because the format is no longer supported.

Antwort von jazzy_d:

Then you've probably only MF6plus and not the HD Pack. Otherwise go CyberLink PowerProducer and PowerDirector synonymous quite good and you hear and read again and again by the codec of CyberLink is very good.

And otherwise the TSRemux simply a M2TS, if no menu is needed.
