Must be my tapes to OSX Capture - these should be followed but with AVID to XP processed. Can one tell me how I use the external disk format, so avid on XP synonymous recognizes this data? It is synonymous AVID a free version (for OSX?) Type. Is this enough to the material is single? What should I know are still observed? Thanks in advance

Which Avid? No clue. No Nitris but not synonymous beginner version. I think it is about the Deiteiformat (OMF / I) that I should use when reading. MiniDV is a source material - but that should not matter ... And evaluation purposes ... the windows will stop the avid video - and audio files can import. And somehow there is no common format such as DV or animation or what ever synonymous.

What I would like to know ... NTFS, FAT32, or understand what an avid-xp? As I just noted had imagine, I can only UFS (UNIX) as an Apple alternative dial - does that work? Are there tools that allow understanding?

FAT32 is my opinion because of the 2GB limit difficult. The film would have snippets with less than 10 minutes per file.
Is it possible to have the calculator in a Network nehemen. Perhaps the direct data exchange works? However, I have no experience regarding the exchange of data between MAC and PC via Network.

As I've found out today, the new Macs with Intel processor synonymous MS-DOS format. That will be FAT32. Thus, the problem would be solved. The Avid turn can make it clear that the maximum size of a file with just 2GB stop. About Network's would have been my last attempt. Had surely synonymous works. Thanks s.alle.

That is wrong. Macs have always been able than FAT-32 format. That has nothing-absolutely nothing-with the change to Intel processors to be done.

with the disk utility erase the entire disk and select the fat32, partition with fat32 partition is not on older Macs.
