Infoseite // Additional software Edius Neo?

Frage von Neufilmerin:

Hello,

I use Edius Neo, to convert my AVCHD files and edit them. 'm Still a beginner. ;-)

Since I began seriously interested in video editing, I would like to know if your Edius Neo, in addition to still use other editing programs? As an extension of the possibilities.

So they get a additional audio editor for example?

Yes, I use only the stripped down version of Edius Neo.

Hello,

I would have to Edius Neo, another question:

I convert my AVCHD files and can be cut with the program smoothly edit / etc.

Edius Neo with what I do not think so beautiful, is the DVD Creator. For my holiday videos I would have liked, for example, an animated video DVD menu.

My question: Can I output the edited video with Edius Neo Material synonymous in DVDLab? DVDLab will be better for menus. I do not mean the Pro version, but the simple studio.

Under "MPEG (; General)" You must select a size 720x576.
The bit rate you need, unlike the DVD export within Edius, so calculate yourself that your video fit on the later DVD. More than 8 million bps, but it may because of the DVD specification to be.

Edius Neo, unfortunately, can not Elementary (output streams, ie audio and video into separate files), which would be optimal for DVD-Lab. But one can make the import into DVD-Lab auto demux (, separated).

Hi,

I have one more question:

I would like to (insert a video clip for photos, about 20 pieces).

Now I've read that one - for a good photo quality - the photos first is to compile a video AVI file to import them to Edius Neo too?

Is there a free program / opportunity?

As an acquisition program, there will be Lets PHOTO DVD, or Canopus Imaginate.

Edit: Would something like Picasa for example, fit?

If you importierst photos directly into Edius, you are much more flexible. Try Simply drop the direct import of photos, and if that does not works as expected and the result is not good, you can always look for alternatives.

Before creating AVI files do I find fairly useless, so you need to have some kind Schnittprtogramm synonymous. It could possibly be worth in some cases to get the photos prior to the final video resolution (; in your case, probably 1920 x 1080 pixels), but then saved again as JPGs or TIFs, and to open it in Edius to. Then the files are smaller and you have full control over the scaling method - if you like this is somehow important.

But as I said: Try the easy way first, before you seek a circumstantial. Life is short. ;)

Hello,

Thanks for the reply.

Then I try the easy way first. :-)

One question I would have to picture quality:

When I insert the DVD menu on Stillimage, then it appears on the television quite blurred and I can Stillimage synonymous can only show a certain size. If I want to draw bigger the Stillimage, Stillimage disappears entirely.

Is there a way to pull a Stillimage eg about half the DVD menu and the with an acceptable image quality?

I shoot photos with my SLR, so the image quality would certainly be enough.

Funny. With me it works flawlessly Eifügen of photos into DVD menu. It can happen at most that distorts the picture, if it had a different aspect ratio.

Yes, it is possible that there s.der Pal-is quality. Maybe I need to sharpen the Stillimage again.

Insert a Stillimage in the DVD menu works. But I can only draw on a very small size. If I (; no preference in any direction) would have larger, has disappeared Stillimage - until I pull it smaller again ..

But at least the direct insert photos into works of Neo. Sometimes the simple way but the best. :-))

Hello,

now works as the Bildeinfügen, I now stand before the next problem.

Sorry, with effect from I know not yet.

I would like to add 20 pictures behind a fixed display time in Edius Neo with. But the photos will run into one another.

If the first Stillimage be seen, almost pushing himself to the next Stillimage of the right. And the first is to the left disappear. Everything with a fixed duration.

Where can I set the time, I now know.

In the 3D Effect "disappear" the photos up. But I want so, the disappearance of the photos on Page.

On a tip, I'd be very happy.

Exactly this effect, I could not find in Edius Neo. Snächsten your idea might still 2-D Effects "Slide" (; with preset 'From Right' or 'To Left') or "PushStretch come."

However, I am not a Special Effect. Perhaps logs still someone who knows more.
