Infoseite // Avid Xpress Pro HD 5.2 error during export

Frage von Mo:

Hello everybody,

Statement 1: If Avid is running is fun!
Statement 2: If not:?">** !!!!!

I did this and many other forums for my problem searches, unfortunately without success.

In short: while I can only export as a QT Ref off, which after transformation into Sorenson (no preference which settings) looks atrocious (horizontal white artifacts primarily but not exclusively with vertical moving objects, scary!) And for a DVD is totally indiskutabel. Interesting: as WMV off to work, but also modest.

When I try to AVI, QT, DV Stream or whatever comes to export when you click Save the following error message: "Exception: he CurrentVersion unsupported hardware model, see console"

Said than done. The console says: "Failed to get video IO Calibration value for VIO Ctrl_Input".

And now ????????

On the hardware it should not lie: Intel Dual Core 2x2, 4 Ghz, 2 GB DDR2 Ram, 500GB hard drive. I thought it would s.der graphics card. But after I over 200 Euros for a Nvidia Quadro FX 550 PCI Ex (of Avid recommended!) Lying down and the problem did not look different Deut ........

Has someone an idea? Perhaps the lack of codecs to export? And if so, where the war I come from?? Had read that there may be a version related problem could be that version 5.2.1 was solved?

Please! Bin s.Verzweifeln!

Regards

Mo

Even at the risk to disappoint you: there may well s.der hardware, since the system is not certified. The graphics card will be advised of Avid, but it in a workstation should be what you do not seems to be the case (systems in the self that often problems with Avid, Avid since the hardware clearly defining it with the run - and so it can run in the Great and then all synonymous). The error message itself is so synonymous to a problem with the hardware close - however you like, I can not say exactly what caused it (may be synonymous came from the motherboard, perhaps because the wrong BIOS version or is it something in the nature - in order to avoid There are so certified workstations).

But times aside, you should maybe actually try a newer version (even on the new hardware).
5.2 is already a fairly old version (now there's 5.7) and because it may well be that when you bite something in the system.
If you suspect that 5.2.1 fixes the error, then try it a try - is a free update and if you previously synonymous in other forums could not be helped, that would be at least worth the attempt.

Hi Jan,

thank you for your first assessment.

Since I am a media designer in a vocational training Lehrkopie-aufm PC I can not upgrade for free. Otherwise I would have tried .... ;-)

Is there any way to the Project on a workstation to copy and off since my hardware without any gaps (as it is) to take? Otherwise hätt I have a finished cut Project that I am not in decent quality from my rifle rauskriege .... : (

Someone an idea?

Just the media data and project data to another system to copy, then open and play. However, I do not know how because it differed with the version of avid looks as if it is easily possible, with a 5.7er Version A 5.2er to open.
