Hello together,
have a film with Avid Pro geschnitten.
But it must be that the complete DVD s.TV distinct prongs in the Picture at running diagonally to the rear lines.
Add to Avid, I have the movie of the Cam through hineingecaptured fields. Then with the setting "4:3 square pixels" and not "Native dimensionless" off.
Other programs were Sorenson Squeeze (auto remove interlaceing) for MPG - Conversion and DVD-Lab.
Has someone a tip for me how the jagged edges disappear?

square pixels is only fürdie output as Desktop and Intenetfilmchen MPEGs thought.
As I have understood you do you want your movie to DVD render.
Keep the native aspect ratios, deinterlachen is no need for TV's, except the film is synonymous to PC look good. Adaptive Deinterlacing is the right choice and look at the Halbbildreihenfolge!
Odd-even his first, otherwise krieft du üblel Kammsartefakte against your stairs are nothing ...

Mov. Reference from AVID off: with Native Dimension
Sorenson Squeeze 3.5: Mov. Imports
Sorenson Squeeze 3.5: Odd field first
Result:
Good result
... except for the jagged edges when running to the rear lines (objects). This remains to be seen.

Hi Andreas,
The phenomenon with the "jagged-edge" seems to be normal.
3 chip DV cameras are not as high. And that comes later Kompremierung in MPEG2 with staircase-like edges is produced.
Who dannoch has a solution and these prongs after the compression in the MPEG2 format does not see or can report times. At the very least, these s.TV and s.PC to see.

've accidentally read that the phenomenon with the prongs is probably
Jaggys (Abtreppungen s.schrägen edges).
There are plasma TV these devices using
3D IP detection decrease.
Now the question arises whether there are settings in various compression programs or cut programs, so they might be reduced.
So that someone knows or has ever been heard?
