I once did a very stupid question. Can I buy DVCpro tapes with timecode? Or are the bands always without timecode?
I ask because I am dealing now with Avid to finally synonymous times so that "right" to be cut. When exporting, I noticed that you can choose between "local" or "remote" mode. In remote mode, you have to play a tape apparently WITH timecode.
Perhaps can someone tell me what the modes are worth!

with the will to control the glückssache. avid is stubborn and not on professional technology designed for wood and had some mini-dv to control. it can work, but need not. especially since you can not frame accurate touch on, since you can only control the camera via firewire, if it works.
Moreover synonymous writes each billigkamera a "tc" if you play on the one band completely.
tc on the band without the tc you'll just have to take the play to the timeline. precoded band is not recommended that one forever.
