Hello s.alle,
can anyone tell me whether normal Betacam cassettes are synonymous playable on Betacam SP player (UVW-1200)? My player takes the cassette with the info "Oxide Tape" does not. What can one do to change the settings of the player or not, has a completely different player?
For information of any kind I would be very grateful!

What can one do to change the settings of the player or need a completely different player from?! Standard Betacam tapes (oxide) are in fact not be playable UVW machines. The PVW-machine is, however, is associated with a very large head wear, so you should avoid the s.sich. Without any problems are dealt with in all BVW machines.
Could you ensure, for example, get a cheap BVW-10, if you need it more often. The meantime there should be quite a gift.
