Infoseite // Canon - DV tape with Sony camera capture?

Frage von Reini:

Hello!

I wanted a DV tape, the Canon MV300i with a quite normal in SP was with my SonyDCR-PC110E Capture. When you play back the tape on my Sony camera, however, are running for dropouts Picture and sound available. On the other hand, Canon is running flawlessly.

How can I change the tape with my Sony camera capture? Or are the 2 cameras are not compatible with each other?

About helpful answers I would be very pleased.
Greetings!

Theoretically, it does not matter with which MiniDV camera you transfer the images. In practice it may occur, for example, that when one of the camcorder, the track is adjusted, and then neither his tapes of another camera can still be read from his tapes, he correctly play back.

It may be that the recording head on the Sonyverschmutz is.

With this cleaning tape you can fix it:

Hi Bernd!

Thanks for the tip. So in this case appear to me of course, more questions.
The tapes that I immediately after the purchase with the Sonyaufgenommen voted yes, it can easily be read. This means that the adjustment would have to trace since the purchase be? I suppose that can only be achieved through a repair fix, right?
If the track is set correctly then, I can then the old tapes, which are adjusted with trace have been read?

Maybe I try to predict variant with the cleaning tape - is probably cheaper, if works.

Hello Again!

Peter06 Thanks for the tip with the cleaning cartridge. It has not fixed the original error, but an already existing longer pixel errors, in the interior shots always have a green dot on the jumping sequence, is thus completely disappeared.

On the issue of playing Canon bands I now rausgefunden following:
The problem of bands of the Canon MV300i is yes, as described above, on my SonyDCR-PC110E not play correctly.
For capturing, I am now a Canon MV I borrowed -300. With this camera, I can both tapes the MV300i and all my tapes Sonyproblemlos play and capture.
Conversely, it works the same. I borrowed the tapes of the MVI-300 easily with my Sony Play.

The odd is only that the tapes of deffekten Canon MV300i Not Sony on my work. Could that possibly synonymous be because it is 80 minutes and the tapes are Sonywith can not handle this?
I usually use only 60 minutes tapes. (Also for test purposes as described above with the MVI300.)

Hello Reini,

you do not mind, that not all the Canon-recorded tapes in your Sony camcorder running. This fact emerges here more often (!) At times and it is ultimately due to the fact that for any Canon (not familiar to me) features not available in all score s.die DV specification has. Other than the camcorder of Sonydürften synonymous problems, the tapes play.

See synonymous:
MiniDV jerky on all devices, only on the original camera
