I had not even thought that the 7D in underexposure even the passable results. Clearly, fast connection ... but still.

Madness, the Arri Alexa! To +4 stops see the footage from virtually exposed as correct! To +6 levels (This is a 63-fold over-exposure!) Can still make a difference between pure white and light gray of the first stage! Krasse performance! Since the Canon 7D unfortunately hardly oppose something.
At the lower exposure I am, however if the performance of the 7D synonymous pleasantly surprised! To -4 f-stops is difficult to identify noise and the tonal range is just fine! Of course Alexa is here synonymous a good bit next, but she's not quite as pronounced, they nose in front, as in the case of overexposure.

The reaction of Alexa for overexposure is yes wirlich sensational. And that is what is actually the more important, namely, a still existing tracing in the highlights.
Finally, Alexa will be hardly used for Mole-cave and movies, as they are shown constantly lately and seems to be the measure of all things.

Times completely ignoring the fact that the 7d already at 2-3 in the aperture Noise lands, although the Vimeo codec that again "ironed smooth."
In this respect, the noise behavior is actually very disapointing.
The original files were interesting times.
