Hello,
I make films with my Canon HG20 and edit it with Edius NEO booster.
Well I bought myself for my Blu-ray player, AV receiver and surround speakers (5.1), which caused me considerable fun ;-).
Therefore, the silly idea came to me now - you can actually create your own AVCHD movies synonymous with surround sound? Can be done with the the NLE, so something like: there are 5 audio tracks and you can then split the recorded audio track, so to speak, and assign different channels? But Neo is not at doing this, as far as I know.
Do you need for an external surround-Micro (if there is at doing this, I've got real) no idea?

5.1 sound is with Edius / Canopus Edius NEO and AVCHD source material is not possible. For PPro CS4 is not synonymous to an expensive plug-in required - as a consolation for you! ;)
The HG20 features only found in 2.0 to anyway!
Enjoy more DVDs and BDs with 5.1 sound with your plant! :)
