Bad for a camera with video function is not, the concept could catch up with the 7D. Still, good codec (Sound!) And one fold-out screen would slow time duty. As long as the GH1 should remain the first choice (and of the gibts probably soon a 24 MB / S successor!).

Look you hold times the Kaiser Zigview S2, it is a nice toy!

Therefore, Canon should stop their production and instead
Ordinary possible unwitnessed ¼FT or APS-C devices on the model GH1 build, but with
rapid contrast AF,
920,000 pix-swivel display
high-resolution EVF,
1080/25p (or even 50p) mode (Ambrella chip !!!!)
aperture lenses with a modified AF drive for video.
Or even better:
all new mini-Bodies with medium format geometry,
TFT display waist with 45 ° viewing (side sunscreen!)
square sensor 22.3 x 22.3 mm,
electronic format shift vertical / horizontal: finally no tipping Gemurkse
s.Tripod, no expensive battery portrait grip, no flash Schwenkerei usw.usw.
I fear: the Canon people will try the stupid Stillimage / video community remains in tact with the so-called "innovations"
to pull the money from his pocket. Competitors machens s.Markt yes synonymous so .....
Panasonic except with the GH1. But in this model gibts synonymous nor avoidable shortcomings - similar product policy as mentioned above.

If something should come as a device on the market (and 2010 it's become rather unlikely), it would play if only priced in a completely different league: of no interest to the so-called "consumer" and certainly not to compete with HF200, & 550D Co.

I'm actually more a fan of Nikon cameras. Weis anyone of you, when around with a comparable DSLR-count of new to Nikon?

What I Z1/HC1 since I very strongly miss is an HD Camera, the real innovation is and so far it looks as if it made quite clearly with the RED Scarlet has her nose in front.
But until the NAB, it is not much time, and maybe Canon and Sonydann is what decent show.
The reamed with 50Mbs HDV and 4:2:2 Farbsampling of Canon is already there to start.
