Infoseite // Capture failure with Canon XLH1

Hi folks,

I will take HDV footage of the Canon XLH1, but says Premiere Pro 2.0 "capture device offline", even though the device control works (but the recording button is not active). Avid Xpress also says that no video signal would be there, although it recognizes the camera. The Windows Media Encoder can record the signal, amazingly, but I will indeed have micht as WMV, as the material is mixed with HD-Cam, which is already so high eh a difference. I work with WinXP SP2 on an AMD 64-bit processor. Already many thanks in advance for the help dear!

PS: With a Canon XL2 for example, does the capturing problems ...

At Canon HDV needs to be unlocked until the camera menu, the Firewire connector, then it is synonymous in the viewfinder to see the Firewire icon to ...

Thank you. This is part of the problems.

in the capture window is not set hdv funzt. dv, however. So downconvertiert comes to the signal. but if hdv, then do pp2 as if he would accept, but does not accept frames up, so that the resulting mpg file is 1KB big.

how come I can not even really old sony z1 or fx1 set in the device-control? I find nowhere hdv equipment. liegts somehow it?

When it is mixed with uncompressed HD, then just capture via HD-SDI as of the HDCAM VTR. Then transcode must no longer be synonymous.
