Caputring Camera - color, capturing Tape - Black White

Hello,
I searched the forum but found nothing! I have a problem with the capture of my analog VHS-C camcorder (Telefunken Videomovie C 1500). If I capture from the camcorder itself, the picture in color. If I capture of a card inserted in your camcorder tape that is black and white picture strangely. I suspect a bug in the camera, someone knows why is that? for capturing, I use the Pinnacle Movie Box USB. The signal comes through an AV Output (VHS) from the camera. From there it's next to a scart adapter with the following outputs: Composite S-Video 2x RCA for the audio channels. I'm using for the video signal from the composite output, because the S-VHS with me anyway just get a black picture. The composite cable then goes into the USB Movie Box, and of the signal goes from there, as the name implies, into the USB - port of my laptop. Laptop specifications: Processor: Intel Centrino 1.6 Ghz graphics card: ATI MOBILITY RADEON X600 with 128MB DDR video RAM

The record, I had already read. I have read through my intended 20 entries relating to capturing vhs but found no answer. I've probably put a little unhappy. I did not capture the `uebliche with S-VHS cable I get only a black and white with vhs-Picture` problem. I suspect more likely an error in my camera. As I said, if I of the camera yourself will (is) without a cartridge, the color picture. But I go with a camera to take pictures outside after the cartridge and would like the recordings of the VHS - C tape onto my laptop, the picture suddenly black white. I find it strange that the Picture of the VHS - C Kamea color, of the VHS - C-cass is black but white. Unfortunately I have no possibilities to test whether the picture is on the tape Actually black white, because I am currently staying in Canada and around me only NTSC - are devices that have the black white picture already was. I have already synonymous Anfrag s.Pinnacle sent. Maybe someone knows if there is a defect that causes that is white with one Farbcamcorder recorded only black?

Perhaps the camcorder has a black and white effect that is enabled for any reason to?

Thanks for the note! That's what I've already thought synonymous, but I have no such black and white effect found. I have tried all possible settings with the camera, nothing. I am puzzled. Maybe they have an idea of Pinnacle yes.
Or do I have but I will probably move up a digital camcorder. However, there is here in Canada NTSC only device and I think very expensive devices can switch, but I think the issue is one place s.anderer posted ... In any case, even again, thanks for the help and the quick answers!

Too bad that you're just surrounded of NTSC. To locate the error, it would need a PAL TV ... or perhaps synonymous meets a serious A / D converter? - Possibly the Movie Box USB is the incoming video signal just not clean enough?
Hat maybe one of your friends / colleagues / friends to ordinary (NTSC / PAL switchable) A / D converter?

I know here, unfortunately, no one has such a device. I've ever tried s.der University who had synonymous with a PAL-compatible VCR cassette adapter, because the picture was black and white, however, synonymous. However, I do not know if the monitor was visible on the picture to NTSC only can. I'll go here, look for the photo shops.

Thanks for the offer (-: I would rather try it noch'n bit in NTSC country around. Thanks for your help! I once try a software update of Pinnacle Studio 9 Who have an upgrade of 9.4.0 to 9.4.3 for download, probably improves, then what.

I have not much hope that a simple software update weiterhilft. Pinnacle Studio has the hardware of the Movie Box USB yes no influence. I still think if it does not s.Camcorders itself is, so that the recording is in black and white, then the movie box the incoming video signal is not clean enough.

The software - update unfortunately synonymous brought nothing, as you already suspected. The dirty signal of the tape seems to be the only possible explanation. Then there is Canada at home then stop only scwarz white, so to speak, NTSC - Style (-: I find here, or someone else with a TV - map, which can convert to PAL.
