Now it comes to my hard drive. I just edit my movies on a laptop with Pinnacle Studio 9 Pros. My hard drive but has only a capacity for cs1 hour of DV material. Therefore I would like an external hard drive with me get at least 100 GB which I want to bind with a USB cable s.meinen laptop.
Now the question s.euch, would the external hard drive via USB to make it to record movies in real time, which means I let my computer run player and record directly to external hard drive. Would this work out ....... so did my mind at the speed .......
Second question ......
Let's say that he is able to record it ........ my laptop could be synonymous, the data in the same speed as the internal data ........ So get to burn??

Hello,
I have been working for years with Premiere 1.5 per one Latop and 2 external USB hard disks without any problems. It even goes as far as I am on the one hand, the video data and other studies have in the dubbing and Music. You just have to stop the speed of the plates eighth (7200) but otherwise no problem.

Perhaps more einpaarmal some tips of other users about this??

Perhaps more einpaarmal some tips of other users about this?? That sounds like a confused shit. Remember this totally wrong numbers quickly. It works. With any USB 2.0 or Firewire disk.

synonymous, I can only say that for me the cut will work fine using external USB2 disks. USB controller is in my own case, the board, ASUS P4 P800-E Deluxe, fitted with a P4 3.2 Ghz.
Perhaps Depends on equipment, if you have such experiences - and thus can not generalize, perhaps.
Maybe it helps synonymous, a reinstall usb2 own controller, which indeed cost a beggar. But we need a free PCI slot, eh clear.

Well Jack, I can not synonymous tell you what it is when your 4 computers that will not do.

I've ne external Firewire HDD, and capture and cutting works without problems, as ner of internal HDD. And my PC already heard more about the older models.
