Hello everybody,
does anybody know whether one with the Panasonic HPX171 via firewire directly to a Mac (; able to record a pinch synonymous PC), so the live-picture?
Would be very grateful if anyone knows or can try once ...

So, I answer my own time:)
In the absence of HPX171 I could not test it yet, but since no one is saying that it is, it will not happen.
I'll still try.
As an interim solution I now use the first time a HMC151 in combination with a Blackmagic Intensity Pro. Via HDMI I get my Live Picture in now.
The HPX171 would probably a suitable card with HD-SDI need ...
