Infoseite // How do I transfer videos of Cam on board? Kopletter newbie seeks advice!

Frage von Zami:

HI!

So: first from a technical view, I am not quite mad on it :-)
Have I purchased a Panasonic Nv Gs 35 EC and is now trying desperately video to the hard drive to get to!

Does it really such a simple drag and drop, as I imagine?
I can rmuss ode to go through the whole video and it will be overplayed?

What makes me a Firewire cable then what I knows how fast if I still have to be run through the whole film!?
So that I might use the USB cable before this is!

And can a film as a whole, without which one copy every time the camera was turned off must begin anew? namely, that makes me complete .. 5 min was then just filmed their stopover, start a new film and in the program (motion dv studio) you have to again!

And please gaaaaaanz easily understandable answers ;-)

Thanks in advance equal to!

welcome .... :-)

But look, "is"! You look in the DV FAQ and you just read up a bit. I bet you'll find an answer to every question, weil ... she has already been asked frequently.

help yet:

win xp SP2 and firewire has (mostly) have needed very often and usb usb 2.0!

Firewire is better, because the computer controlling the CAm is transferred from the PC. DV Studio actually makes next car if you can run the tape. Also at the scene detection.

USB 2.0 is not needed very often, but is required if USB comes into play. It is necessary to transfer about 13 GB in an hour. This goes with the older USB standard at all.

On my way Panasonic does Camsteuerung from (almost) any program also via USB. But this discussion we have already conducted elsewhere.

The Capture, you can even do well with DVStudio if the films are on HD erstmal, is the editor again, no preference.

Oh nochwas: Per hour of video requires about 13 GB on disk. With adequate reserves you already should have a fairly large plate.

Simply drag and drop the way, nothing's going. The tape has to run as normal. Ie one hour of video is (quickly) in an hour on the Calculator

on older (operational) systems, there are solutions synonymous with usb 1.1.
what we might otherwise have done earlier without usb 2.0 :-)

Thanks for the reply!

The reserves, I think I have :-) (about 2 terabytes should be enough for a little film)

So the Firewire cable is only good bum get the image quality and not about to be faster .. hmm shame!

That's right. Firewire with the higher standards would have huge advantages over high-speed USB, but it is actually synonymous. After all, you have everything to be gecapturet to turn even some synonymous. ;-)

USB 2.0 would normally have [not] faster than Firewire
