Short question: How can I in the ideal case without any additional software mpeg in my Avid Express 4.6 per imortieren to cut? The next problem would then be returned to the finished film back to mpeg convert (Avid exported mpeg yes or no, at least my version does not). The whole should not have any visible loss of quality. Do I need this operation for a further software or go without the synonymous? If they do, what software do I need and where can I get them cheaply?

As far as I understand, you can not mpeg2 import into Avid Express. It could be any converter (Google: mpeg2avi) try, but the quality of which is expected to suffer much. The whole then back into mpeg2 - even worse quality.
