Hi, have bought me an old Leica R 2.8/24mm Lens for shooting. In addition to the normal Leica R to Eos adapter of Enjoyyourcamera.
The focus ring is of 0,3 m - 5m and then into the infinite. How far the indication is different from some of the genuine Focus? Can I sharpen the measured 1:1 and transferred to the Focus Ring?
Unfortunately had not the ability of mm exact tests.

Hi,
In my experience, this is impossible.
On my 35mm f2.8 M42 Yashinon goes off the scale at 0.4, but I can actually ran to about 28cm - which is quite a difference. In 0.5, it looks like, there it is approximately 37cm sharp.
I do not know what cam you have, I have one with Crop - perhaps the pure plays.

On a 550D I've tested this, but synonymous is a different connection, do not know how that's comparable.

On follow Fucus is still normal but not justified or s.FotoObjektiven.
