Hi,

with my camcorder Panasonic NV-GS400 can I save running footage via Firewire and Pinnacle Studio 10 Plus directly on the hard drive of my PC, rather than the mini-DV tape. The probably do as much.

With this camera I can snap photos synonymous, they are then usually stored on an SD Card.

Question: does it something like taking pictures at the photo synonymous with the camcorder, so you do not first transfer the photos of the SD Card to the PC, but that the geknpste still image is stored directly on the PC hard disk. Do we need this special Still Image Capture software?

The camera has a webcam mode. With appropriate software it could go (with reduced resolution).
