I try in between synonymous with FCP. As regards FireWire problems: I can noexternen HDs over FW 800 connect to it while I have a camera (Digital 8 or Mini-DV over FW 400 or 800). Then no program is more, neither Premiere nor FCP. Perhaps what is with me so synonymous a.Computer broken (I think but not before).
