The Camera (SonyTRV-725E Digital 8 PAL) PAL is on (playback settings) and is set to premiere in the project settings and in the basic settings / recording window (control devices) to PAL.

I try in between synonymous with FCP. As regards FireWire problems: I can noexternen HDs over FW 800 connect to it while I have a camera (Digital 8 or Mini-DV over FW 400 or 800). Then no program is more, neither Premiere nor FCP. Perhaps what is with me so synonymous a.Computer broken (I think but not before).
