Infoseite // Question: FD Lens / Aperture and 35mm adapter

Frage von cliffomalley:

Hi Folks,

I've bought myself a 50mm FD Lens on ebay.
Now I have heard from other forums already
that the aperture is always in a protective position where
It is not screwed on and the Aperture only by the trip
and short-occupying their positions.

Rotations s.Blendering currently cause any change in Aperture.
But if you move a rear s.Lens these metal intentions,
Then comes the aperture a little bit more.

Now I have ordered me out of the U.S. Post a Jag adapter.
This is unfortunately not yet arrived.

Now I wanted to ask whether the lens has to hire a defect
or whether this behavior is normal and to Aperture with the
Adapter will then be set free?

Thank you very much
Greeting Cliff

Look! By rotating s.der Lens and Aperture. When the aperture closes and opens without jamming everything is in order.

This "defensive position" has nothing to do with protecting ... it is rather about that focus as much light to fall through.

If you have a picture with aperture 22 and want to make a long exposure time, you would not see through the viewfinder, so there is this mechanism.

Back to the film, of course, inconvenient. If there are problems with the Jag35 you can use the small lever at the lens, however, saw off synonymous.

PS The Jags are great! Had long synonymous one in stock tomorrow goes away = (. I did always made better experiences with Nikon lenses, as well as with Pentax, which are much easier to adapt.

Then the Aperture seems to have a defect.
When I see through through the Lens
s.dem then turn the aperture ring and nothing happened.
Are you completely (100%) sure that the aperture must then move?

The info I have here with the trigger:
http://forum.regie.de/viewtopic.php?p=107301&sid=b0c6d197065f9daf70dc74f58de9da0f # p107284

This contribution mentioned in the tongues I've discovered synonymous
time off and messing around. Thereafter, the Aperture temporarily moved.
Have it but not permanently manage it.

Then wackelkandidat something s.diesem "security tools" spanner. Theoretically, this should not be curious. Could be, but that he is stuck and so the aperture can not close.

So it is indeed closed.
Only open or close yet it can not be next.
I once made a few Blder.

Picture 2: http://www.abload.de/img/08032010487d58b.jpg

Picture 4: http://www.abload.de/img/08032010489furl.jpg

When you look at Picture 4th There, I have drawn an arrow.
As soon as I move this lever in the now available 2 mm;
then the Aperture still includes bissl more. If there are not.

Which is the protection of tension?
The large or small with the arrow?

The big move is great, but has no apparent function.
If I move the big to the other end and then press the other moves the Aperture at all.

In Picture 1, I've located these tongues.

Sorry for blurred images.
Photos are from a Nokia.

Antwort von JonasB:

My fear is that the lens is broken, at least, stuck or something. If you provide the aperture to the smallest number (so that it is theoretically quite frankly) and then I s.den tensioner (mine, the great) and this tongue is wobble in the last picture and ensure you go that there is nothing jammed, should Aperture open.

At the Jag will be only the most extreme version, if you half the Obektiv in hand and nothing s.der Aperture can be adjusted, you will be the s.Jag can not synonymous.

Vlt but there is a trick I do not know ... and someone else can help you ...

Antwort von cliffomalley:

ok Thanks for your quick help.
I will ask again in a photo shop before I begin rumzustressen.
The behavior of the seller respond to specific questions, not
increasingly synonymous my guess.

Antwort von Josua:

So I have a 28mm from the same "class" and because it is this: if I do not s.der Camera Lens / Adapters, etc., is the Aperture drann have half closed and can not be changed, but when I plug in the lens opens the blend and is then freely adjustable.
So if you have a lens cap, then make him once s.das Lens and watch whether opening the aperture. If it is synonymous with the lid it will work s.dem JAG.
For me it was so ....

HI

jupp - I'd be synonymous discovered.
Since moving synonymous what - it is only at conclusions f8 - f22 to f8 so.
Was just in a photo shop, the man has confirmed to me then that the lens is defective. Rapartur would not be worth it.

Thanks to you

Yesterday I had a similar problem when changing the aperture of a 50mm 1.8 FD lens. The aperture ring was spinning as soon as we had imprinted such Fixierschalter s.Lens. Picture yourself on synonymous s.der Aperture and nothing has changed, I have worked with one sgpro35mm adapter with FDmount.
now corrected to a conjecture on my part please if I am wrong and someone really knows 100%.

On the adapter, you can not set the aperture, because the lens does a camera which opens up the aperture. Vllt located by default in auto hide mode? ...

that would at least make sense if the focus wide open and the aperture to cause rapid changes in the right position. The aperture was at our standard wide open with no chance to change that.

Someone knows a solution to the problem if you take a disregard of NDfiltern, at least yesterday it was soo light I've seen with the smallest aperture of the hv40 Zebra. A little less blur would simplify the focussing essentially synonymous ...
