Better Display, higher resolution CCD and 1080p50 would be worth a consideration for me.
Especially after it has Sonyvorgelegt and Canon will soon follow suit with the new codec in memory-XH.
It will be exciting!

This sounds really good. But really ought to double the data rate of 50p yes 25p have, then, 48 Mbit / S instead of 28 Mbit / S. Could it be that the data rate per picture will be virtually cut in half - eg 14 Mbit / S on the equivalent of 25p?

yes you are right, the data rate per picture is actually halved. But that perspective when one considers that the differences between 2 pictures are synonymous, and less could be more effectively encoded with it.
That can only be seen in the average. The statistical means and Screws. For a single picture, it may still be worse.

Since I'm really curious how the small cam's lift the 1080/50p. So far, not even 1080/25p really works smoothly, at least not at affordable Cams. The EX 1-3 this does not even make sense.
If it must be added to the Panasonic's the Topschärfe the JVC HM400 and the Sony LowLihgt Exen that would be the hammer for the 1000 Euro class. It will be interesting!

So 24/25p smoothly and are a contradiction in terms.
I do not want it now spends to explain, but in a typical 25p production (drama, etc.) will respect the fact the cameraman is not too jerky or fast pans come.
If you fast motion (sports, etc.) in the 25p recording and then you complain about it afterwards that it jerky, you may be synonymous not help.
Especially for the EX series has one 50/60p mode, which provides for very smooth movements.
Please do not write bad things about a camera if you have no idea of the matter.
I'm going very strong views assume that the loan just in such a small camera (and image converters) between 720/50p and 1080/50p picture one will not notice any big difference.
