Infoseite // Stable Encoding Workflow Wanted (DVD-> H264 in flv container)

Frage von oldnick:

Dear forum visitors,

I'm looking for a larger transformation project (DVDs will be up to 90 min for viewing on the Internet are made available, approximately 30-60 pieces) with a stable encoding workflow. I have the usual tools known (Procoder, Squeeze, etc.) but I have no experience with a project of this size.
I ask after stable because it is a solution to be obtained safely synonymous overnight to run without it but then 10 minutes after you went to crash.

At the end, a flv file f4v or get out, the H264/aac houses.

If I were on the way something totally misunderstood that I am responsible for correcting grateful.

Many Thanks & Regards

A pity nobody synonymous to me a little help, or of their own experiences can be.

If anyone should think "s.da just wants someone youtube and CO. With new films feed", which was assured that the Erlubnis DVD is copyright and may work with the licensed software is operated.

Many greetings

Perhaps that is why there are no answers because there is no stable "in h264/aac FLV Workflow there? At least I None known.

On2 Flix Pro should be of help here. It does not have h264 and aac, but it has

- 2pass Encoding
- A batch function

So everything you need to make sense to encode them.

The DVDs you prepare s.besten with Avisynth on, only then will the workflow uniform and the only way to come out was reasonable.

Alternatively, you may yourself Sorenson crash course in, but since you have to bite through you alone or to the Sorenson Experts wait to hopefully come.

May I also question what is the goal? DVD videos in full Resolutionund with 5.1 sound in the web browser to make betrachtbar or something like YouTube?

Thanks for the reply. If there is indeed no stable workflow gives me then I probably bite through it.

And yes you can ask for what. It aims to be a closed Elearningprojekt in which students can watch the films.

5.1 is probably exaggerated and full DVD resolution is perhaps not synonymous. The bit rate is expected to probably be quite high, so the film only with difficulty with a 2 Mbit line can view it.

Well, I am synonymous s.Learn and the whole thing is basically a pilot project, which is of course synonymous can go wrong.

If it is a "closed society", then you could alternatively the Windows Media Video format. This works synonymous for streaming (progressive download), is only relatively Hackel to get the settings right place. Batch encoding is synonymous (via Windows Media Encoder).

Or else you is based on Quicktime, because there are h264/aac. Personally, I like it even less than WMV.

Otherwise, try something with Flix Pro. If the Resolutionirgendwo is at 512x384 (25 frames, progressive), then of 1 Mbit / s for a decent picture from (but please only 2pass).

Thanks synonymous for this proposal to me I will look at this possibility.

My actual plan is the DVD and then convert the file created by Flash Player Software Players + shell (embedded in the Web site) to play.

According to this entry should be with the Flayerplayer 9 Beta anything possible.

http://www.kaourantin.net/2007/08/what-just-happened-to-video-on-web_20.html

Then I wanted to change the MOOV atom, so a kind of pseudo-synonymous streaming should be possible. (A streaming server is not exist.)

It still lacks the intermediate step of the encoder.

Perhaps there is someone in the forum synonymous on the basis of a workflow x264 (sorry falls with no more appropriate word for a) might suggest.

Thanks again s.all that bother to read this entry.
