I ordered Manfrotto 546 with 504er. Must still wait a week but I wonder if you can just put the part not with a cloth on the shoulder and can abuse as a shoulder stand? Apart from the fact whether it looks funny.

I did that once with a cheap Hama tripod and it was about. Camera is very easy indeed, but big arms it anyway;)

So I had such a combination in time with a NV-GS80 plus Zoom H4 Accessory shoe on the turn for an hour consistently. It was ok, but was powerful in his arms! Earnings also saw m. E. better than I would have made it out of hand.
