Infoseite // USB Sound Interface Behringer U-Control UCA202 only studio-level input?

Frage von beiti:

I have some time Behringer USB Sound Interface UCA202. This is one of the cheapest USB sound solutions for home recording, etc. and is synonymous in some similar form of Behringer mixers, so that the output signal can directly Digitizer (quasi as a substitute for direct USB output s.Mixer).

In any event, when I install the UCA202 s.zwei different computers (Win 2k and XP) found that in the Windows Control Panel, the fields for the recording level controls are grayed out. Also in WaveLabLite is the usual mixer, with which one the input signal could regulate, not Control. You can (if s.verwendeten program select the input source can) through the UCA202 record, but the level is always the same.

Now, I have researched on the Internet and found out the professional recording interface software does not seem generally moderate level adjustment allows, but on the studio level and designed to rely on that one as the input signal to the controllable output of a mixer is used. However, I would have rather in 24-bit cards presumed, not a simple 48kHz/16Bit-Lösung such as the Behringer UCA202.

What is the Behringer and can confirm that there is no input level control allows? (The manual is silent on this from, and the support of synonymous Behringer is not very helpful.)
What other professional sound interfaces and can confirm that the host controller in Windows "cripple"? I just want to find out if perhaps a s.Interface defect or a driver problem.

Antwort von Markus:

I guess Rush plays on the buttons with the word "volume" to. Is this perhaps the desired function?

Antwort von beiti:

That is my problem that the "volume" button for the recording not available (grayed out, as seen in the screenshot).

If the playback volume and calls on this route to recording volume will penetrate, this also ends in nothingness.

Antwort von Markus:

True, I've only seen the clickable buttons, but so are the "Playback". :-(

Two comments about this.

The problem arises perhaps synonymous, because it might only ASIO drivers and WDM drivers do not exist. Thus, a correction input only into applications that support the ASIO?

If you do not weiterkommst, I would call Monday Behringersupport.

nabnd,

thought the two yellow inputs as would drehpotis ... I am probably verschaut;)

But perhaps the device is really only for the simple A / D conversion in the computer-designed and properly expected s.eingang already gepegelte signals ... where the course is NEN bissl funny. softaremäßig gibts da synonymous nothing of behringer to recruit from? drivers-tool or something?

vllt otherwise. really just the support anmailen / call ...

Quote: vllt otherwise. really just the support anmailen / call ... I'm already here. If those are not simple. Only you get more automated drafted tips (apparently because a computer check the question keywords and then sends something that sounds fitting), then at the third attempt to finally answer a seemingly personal, but not synonymous, the question answered, but the offer , to contact me by phone. Now I must look at when and how to establish it, so I'm actually at home.
